Series 2 (2025)

Linda faces the fury of the town as she admits to lying about her real identity and is ejected from the town until her trial. A third Eel Sister appears on the scene after being released from jail and she's sceptical about Linda.

News of Linda's ledgers spreads across town and the seeds of a revolution are being sown. Steve plans a trip to Turkey for a makeover and Siobhain faces her own domestic turmoil. The Verderer decides the women of the town are upsetting the natural order of things and must be stopped.

Linda begins to realise the power that her ledgers have unleashed in the town's women.

While the men and women are more divided than ever, Linda’s past comes back to haunt her.

The Eel Sisters invite Linda to their annual Silent Supper, and The Verderer declares war.

The strike is over and there’s a sense of new beginnings for everyone…
