Biography:

David Strathairn (born January 26, 1949) is an American actor, best known for his portrayal of journalist Edward R. Murrow in the feature film "Good Night, and Good Luck" (2005), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award. He had also starred in "L.A. Confidential" (1997), "Godzilla" (2014), and the "Bourne" franchise (2007–2012).
